“So our Halloween Party was going quite well, hitting capacity at 11:45 and dance floors and bars packed with some of the best costumes we’d ever seen. Apparently, however, this Halloween (which fell on a Saturday night) was too loud for the gentrifiers downtown and the cops shut us down for noise complaints. To make up for it, we’ve taken some of the bands and djs that didn’t get to play, added free beer, and put them in a tiny venue where we hope the cops won’t find us…”
